Seminar halls & meeting rooms in BangaloreEighty people, one screen, three hours. The room decides how it feels.
A sourced guide to small and mid-size venues in Bangalore — cultural-centre halls, institutional auditoria and hotel meeting rooms for seminars, training sessions, board meetings and CMEs of 20–300 people.
Which seminar halls in Bangalore suit 20–300 people?
For 20–300 people in Bangalore, look at three kinds of venue: cultural centres such as Bangalore International Centre in Domlur (180-seat auditorium, halls of 70 and 50), institutional venues such as NIMHANS Convention Centre on Hosur Road, and hotel meeting rooms — for example Renaissance Race Course’s Turf (220 theatre) or Sheraton Grand Brigade Gateway’s Jupiter (100 theatre).
Small events are judged more closely than big ones. In a room of eighty, everyone can see the projector cable, hear the air-conditioning and notice that the back row cannot read the slides. Every capacity below is the venue’s own published figure or a named listing, marked H for an official venue page, M where listings agree and L for a single, dated or inconsistent listing. We confirm the number for your layout before quoting.
Small rooms hide nothing. Every flaw is ten feet away.
- The “100-seat” room seats 50 at tables.Theatre rows fit far more than classroom tables. In the hotel tables below, classroom capacity runs at roughly 40–65% of theatre.
- The projector washes out in daylight.A seminar hall with windows needs blackout or a bright enough screen. We check at the time of day you will use it.
- The next booking walks in at 5 pm.Shared halls and cultural centres run back-to-back. Setup and clear-out times go into the booking, not a verbal promise.
- The mic is a single handheld.Q&A in a 150-seat room needs a runner mic; a panel needs one each. We list the AV before you sign.

Seminar hall, training hall or boardroom: what each format needs
Pick the layout first, then the room. The same hall seats very different numbers.
| Format | Headcount | Layout | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Board meeting or leadership review | 10–30 | Boardroom or U-shape | Privacy, a screen everyone can read, video-conference kit, no glass wall onto a corridor |
| Training session or workshop | 20–60 | Classroom or clusters of 6–8 | Power at tables, daylight with blackout, breakout corners, a whiteboard |
| Seminar or CME | 40–200 | Theatre, or classroom for note-taking | Projection sized for the back row, lectern and runner mics, recording permission |
| Panel or book launch | 60–250 | Theatre with a low stage | Stage lighting on faces, four or five mics, a reception area for after |
| Town hall for one team | 100–300 | Theatre | Sound for Q&A, capture for remote staff, a fast exit for the next meeting |

Two weeks out
Invitations with parking and directions. Registration with a reminder two days before.
Three days out
Decks collected. Seating plan, name cards for a boardroom, signage for the lobby.
On the day
Arrive 90 minutes early, test every deck on the room’s system, and run sound for each speaker. Start on time — the audience remembers.
